It's funny how Ame thinks of various things when she's hungry. And instead of grabbing something to munch on, she decided to create a blog. Uhuh.
Okay, so much the babble.
So here is Words Take Over, just another random idea of Ame's mind. Hearing it now, that just sounds so blogger-ish. ANYWAY, it just passed her mind, but it makes sense so she made it her blog title/location. Whatever it's called.
Somehow, it befits the way we think. We don't choose the words that we use to encapsulate our thoughts. No, not in the silent speech inside our heads, not in the ideas we secretly wrap our minds around, not in the stream of consciousness we could not exactly control.
There, the words just take over.
Just like that, this blog is created. Ame does not guarantee academic entries, profound insights, or life changing inputs. Gah, she can't even guarantee if she can maintain this. Hahaha.
Nevertheless, let this blog serve its purpose. Let her and let yourself be overtaken by... (more)
Prince's JournalChapter X
The boy was walking home, his mind filled with many things.
He held the hearts of the ones he loved, because he willingly siphoned their pain.
There was a knock on his shoulder. And he snapped out of his thoughts.
There was no pain, but he looked up to see a drunken man.
He stank.
"Tch" the boy grumbled. And tried to move past him.
The man lashed out with a yell. The boy sighed.
"Tough luck" The boy muttered. "Bad timing"
He let the bottle of cheap beer crash down upon his head, and simply smiled.
He let the pain in his heart merge with the pain on his head and channeled it to his hands.
His hands thrust toward the man, who was confused, and struck him in the chest.
"This, is pain. You were hurt inside, and thus, wanted to hurt me. But your pain only caused me a little blood and a night or two of healing. My pain, will cause you to writhe and squirm, and it won't heal as quickly. You may die, you may not. I am done with you. Of course...I doubt you even understand what I just... (more)
Stay At Home KnitNothing like techology helps you!!!!!
Look at this pic and tell me what you see:
Yes, my mirror is dirty, but that is not what I had in mind.
So?
No, I didn't think on the fact I need a hair cut … or at least a comb!
All right – I'll tell you – I have new washmachine – it is there, working just behind Lola's buttocks! And my new machine rocks!!!!!!!
We also bought a drier to go along with washer and now I am born again!!!!! Almost nothing to iron!!!!!!
But the biggest news is – that I don't have to go in basement anymore to wash my clothes! It is all close to my hands now!
So now I have more time to knit! And though Lola doesn't sleep all day like she used to, thought she started eating solind food (with accent on mashed vegetables):
I can „steal“ cca two hours during daylight – cause my baby can sit firmly and play with rubber toys while I knit beside her!
But most of my knittings are happening during looong nights. Few days ago I have finally finished legwarmers with... (more)
Da Hui LangBlack Friday store spending edges up
Shoppers who endured long lines and sometimes-frigid temperatures spent only slightly more during their Black Friday shopping sprees than they did last year, according to data released Saturday by a research firm.
At the same time, their pajama-clad counterparts, a much smaller group that accounted for only a fraction of overall sales, shopped online from the warmth of their homes and dramatically boosted their spending.
More than a year after the economy's collapse began rattling shoppers, industry observers said Friday's shopping sprees offered a strong start to the holiday season.
"We have struggled for a long time and one of the ways for the economy to get going again is for the consumer to begin to spend more freely," said Bill Martin, co-founder of research firm ShopperTrak, which released its sales figures Saturday. "And I think this is an indication they were willing to do that."
